Imran keeps expecting someone will make him PM: Javed Hashmi
Former PTI leader Javed Hashmi criticized Imran Khan's recent statement in which he said that people would distribute sweets if the army would stage a coup in Pakistan.
Javed Hashmi said that a 'joker type' politician talks of distribution of sweets with regard to a military coup. Hashmi also said that Imran expected someone will make him the Prime Minister of the country.
"Imran Khan will have to become a mature politician," said Javed Hashmi.
Other politicians also assailed Khan's remarks from earlier in the day. ANP's senator Shahi Syed said that there was a difference between a player and a politician which had now become apparent to all, after Khan's latest statement. He said that there was a need to promote democracy in the country.
Dr Amir Liaquat said that Khan's statement was an attempt to incite the armed forces and that a case of Article 6 should be registered for the offence.
Dr Amir Liaquat also pointed out that PML-N was winning the local bodies elections in the country.
