No political turmoil likely on July 10, predicts Sindh governor
BHIT SHAH: Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is facing a historic accountability, and there will be no political turmoil on July 10 as the Supreme Court bench will first study the Joint Investigation Team’s (JIT) final report, and the next decision will come after some months on Sunday.
Sindh governor expressed his views in a media talk on the shrine of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai in Bhit, and said that the next general elections will take place in 2018 on the due date. Both federal and provincial governments will keep on working till the completion of their tenures, he remarked.
Zubair also talked about the problems of Karachi that erupted right after the recent spell of rains, and said those who are in power are responsible for city’s lousy condition.
Zubair added that the federal government has ensured Karachi’s peace, and it will also solve its other problems. He said that the situation will change by reducing the authority of Sindh Inspector General (IG).
