SC’s verdict into Panama Case victory of people of Pakistan: Sehar Kamran
by inpISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator, Sehar Kamran (TI) has congratulated the nation on the historic decision made by the Supreme Court (SC) on the Panama Case. She said that is a defining moment for Pakistan as five judges of the SC bench unanimously disqualified Nawaz Sharif from Prime Minister (PM) Office.
Expressing her views on Apex Court’s verdict, Sehar Kamran stated that it is heartening to see that state institutions have started to set a good precedence which will benefit the country in the long run. She said that the democratic process in Pakistan should prevail and the accountability process should strengthen, following this decision.
She said that the decision will be remembered in the history of Pakistan. She also paid tribute to the Judges of SC and the members of Joint Investigative Team (JIT) whose resolve did not waiver despite constant blackmailing and pressure tactics.
Nawaz Sharif has become part of the history, the PPP Senator added.
