ATC issues non-bailable arrest warrants against MQM conveyor, leaders
ATC heard cases against MQM leaders pertaining to attacks on media houses, riots and for chanting slogans against National security.

KARACHI: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday issued non-bailable arrest warrants against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) conveyor Khalid Maqbool along with other leaders.

ATC heard cases against MQM leaders pertaining to attacks on media houses, riots and for chanting slogans against National security.

During the hearing Khawaja Izhar, Rehan Hashmi, Farooq Sattar and Amir Khan appeared before the court.

Dissident MQM leader Shahid Pasha and Amjadullah Khan also appeared before the ATC hearing.

The ATC issued non-bailable arrest warrants against MQM leaders Rasheed Godial, Haider Abbas Rizvi and Salman Mujahid Baloch for failing to appear before the court.

The court adjourned the hearing, ordering arrest of the absconders and to be presented before the court on August 11.
