Shehbaz pens letter to Hasan Askari, seeks facilities for Nawaz in prison
Citing that Nawaz is suffering from heart disease, Shehbaz asked the authorities to allow Nawaz's doctor to visit him regularly

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif penned a letter to interim Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab Hassan Askari and requested for providing facilities to Nawaz Sharif in Adiala Jail in line with his status as a former Prime Minister (PM) of the country.

The party president asked the authorities to ensure the medical and health facilities for him.

He also requested interim CM Punjab to ensure Nawaz’s regular medical checkup.

Citing that Nawaz is suffering from heart disease, Shehbaz asked the authorities to allow Nawaz’s doctor to visit him regularly.

In the light of Avenfield verdict Nawaz, Maryam, and Safdar are sentenced to 10, 7, and 1 years imprisonment respectively.
