LHC adjourns dual office case till tomorrow
LAHORE: A five-member bench of the Lahore High Court Monday adjourned the hearing of petitions against holding of dual offices by the president till Tuesday.
The petitioner's counsel AK Dogar arguing the case contended that as per Article 41(1) of the constitution the president could not hold two offices simultaneously.
The bench comprised Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Justice Ch.Iftikhar Hussain, Justice Umar Ata Bandial, Justice Iqbal Hameed-ur-Rahman and Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan.
It was hearing two similar petitions filed by Pakistan Lawyers Forum and Asif Mahmood.
