Attabad lake outflow rises to 6100 cusecs
HUNZA: The Landslide-generated Lake in Attabad is continuously making cuts at the Spillway, enhancing the outflow to 6100 cusecs, Geo News reported Wednesday.According to the official sources, the inflow at the Lake is 5800 cusecs.
The persistent discharge of water from the Spillway caused to continue the cutting process leading the Spillway to further widen.
Meantime, the weather conditions in Hunza are worse on third consecutive day today.
Also, Gilgit-Hunza section of Karakoram Highway will remain open till 4pm today for the transportation of the relief goods.
