PPP to observe Black Day if court summons Hakim Zardari
LAHORE: Senior Punjab Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad warned that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) would observe Black Day if any court summoned Hakim Zardari, 83, who is father of President Asif Ali Zardari, Geo News reported Tuesday.Addressing a press conference here, he urged Punjab should not emanate to other provinces the message of hatred, as myriad of bodies have already been sent from Punjab.
He added it would not be tolerated if any more dead body was dispatched from Punjab to any other province.
Riaz asserted Hakim Ali Zardari is being maligned for being the father of President Zardari, cautioning the practice will augment but hatreds with deleterious impact to democracy.
Hakim Zardari is ailing and dragging him to courts will benefit the forces wishing ill for democracy and Pakistan, he added.
