KARACHI: Saleem Shehzad, who was murdered after being kidnapped from Islamabad, has been laid to rest Wednesday afternoon in Karachi, Geo News reported.

His body was brought to Karachi from Islamabad and then was taken to his residence in Clifton. The burial took place after Zuhr prayers where hundreds of journalists and relatives were present to mourn the daring journalist’s killing.

Before his murder, Saleem was threatened by the intelligence agents.
