Devolution: Budget allocations made federal entities
ISLAMABAD: Chairman 18th Amendment Implementation Committee, Senator Raza Rabbani Saturday said allocations have also been made in the budget for those federal government organizations which were connected with ministries being devolved to the provinces, Geo News reported.Senator Rabbani chaired the 18th Amendment Implementation Committee’s meeting today that discussed matters relating to food, agriculture and minorities issues.
Later, talking to media he said various matters relating to the devolution of ministries were discussed in the meeting.
Source told Geo News that under the 18th amendment, 17 federal ministries were to be devolved to the provinces by June 30 and that the devolution process for many ministries had already been completed.
