Intensity of cyclone decreased: Met Office
KARACHI: The intensity of the cyclone in the Arabian Sea has decreased and the coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan are not under any immediate threat, Geo News reported.
The Met office has advised that residents of coastal areas should still undertake precautionary measures.
The temperature in the Arabian has dropped and as a result the intensity of the cyclone has been decreased. According to the Director of the Met Office, Sindh and Balochistan will receive rainfall due to the cyclone. Rain is expected in Sindh between Saturday and Monday and in Balochistan from between Sunday and Monday.
The Met Office maintains its advisory to fisherman of not sailing into the open seas.
