A mob of miscreants attacked the SITE power plant and forced the technical staff to leave the plant, resulting in disruption of plant operation and supply to SITE industrial area.

The union miscreants also stole a conductor wire on Tuesday between Location Nos 8 and 9 in the 132KV Pipri-KEPZ Circuit causing a tripping. Security at the circuit has been beefed up and repair work was completed in a short time.
