Electricity shortfall reaches 4,951 MW: PEPCO
LAHORE: The current energy generation in the country is 12,939 megawatts (MW) and the demand is 17,890 MW, Geo News reported. Therefore, the shortfall now stands at 4,951 MW, according to PEPCO spokesman.
Sui Northern Gas Company stated that the problems at Sui field and Zamzama gas field and supply to powerhouses have been restored. Despite this statement by Sui Northern, loadshedding continued throughout the country.
