French envoy calls on Sindh governorKARACHI: Ambassador of France to Pakistan Daniel Jouanneau called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad Khan on Monday. In the meeting held at the Governor House here, Dr Khan said that Pakistan’s economy was facing many challenges.
He said that the government was endeavouring to face these challenges within its resources with the spirit of self-reliance. The governor said that Pakistan is a frontline state in the fight against terrorism and militancy and spending a huge amount of its budget on this count.
He said that the entire world especially the developed countries should persuade their investors to invest in Pakistan to help enhance its trade. app
