Sikh yatrees arrive to attend Ranjit Singh’s death anniversary

LAHORE: To attend the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, 280 Indian Sikh yatrees reached Wahga Railway Station, Lahore by a special train on Tuesday.

Asif Hashmi welcomed the Sikh guests. The Sikh pilgrims appreciated the arrangements made by the Evacuee Trust Property Board. During their stay from June 21-30, they will visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassanabdal, Sach Soda, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore. The Sikh pilgrims remembered the hospitality rendered to them during their previous visits to Pakistan. They also prayed for the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan and wished peace and prosperity for the country.
