PML-N to continue struggle to achieve goals, says Nawaz

PALANDRI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that his party would continue its struggle to achieve the goals for which Pakistan was established.

Addressing a public gathering in connection with the forthcoming Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly elections, Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan was a nuclear state and unless it was turned into an economic power it would not be able to get a respectable place in the comity of nations.

“The PML-N always worked for the solution of Kashmir issue through meaningful dialogue with India.” He claimed it was PML-N’s successful policy, which compelled the then Indian prime minister to visit Lahore and come to the negotiating table. Nawaz said, “We want to change the fate of Pakistan and Kashmir. I will bring justice and merit system in the country to make it a welfare state.” He said today, every citizen was worried about his future as the country, which is facing multiple issues like terrorism, unemployment, inflation and corruption. app
