China welcomes Indo-Pak talks
BEIJING: China welcomes contacts and dialogues between Pakistan and India, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei on Thursday. Hong told in a press conference that China supports India and Pakistan for solving their differences through ‘dialogues and cooperation’. The spokesman was responding to a question while foreign secretaries of both the countries were holding two-day talks in Islamabad on Thursday. He said that good India and Pakistan relationship will not only serve the interest of South Asia but also help to ensure peace, stability and development in whole of Asia. app
