Implementation on 18th Amendment in final stages: PM
LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has written a letter to Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani asking him to immediately call a meeting of the Council of Common Interest, Geo News reported. Prime Minister Gilani replied by saying that the reservations of the Punjab Chief Minister would be solved in an appropriate forum with the consensus of all provinces.In the letter Shahbaz Sharif stressed that the pace of powers being transferred under the 18th amendment to provinces be increased. The response which was issued by the Prime Ministers spokesman stressed that the Prime Minister was of the opinion that the transfer of powers to provinces was in its final stages.
