MQM applies for NA, Senate opposition benches
ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday submitted applications for senators and national assembly members in the respective secretariats to be allocated seats on the opposition benches, Geo News reported, Geo News reported.MNA Haider Abbas Rizvi and Senator Tahir Mashhadi submitted applications respectively in the NA and Senate secretariats. Rizvi pointed out that MQM will strengthen the opposition while Senator Tahir said Pakistan People’s Party can not be trusted and their decision to sit on opposition benches was final.
