PPP North Texas celebrates AJK election victory
DALLAS: Leadership of PPP North Texas held a meeting to celebrate the victory of the PPP in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) elections and express their solidarity with the people of Kashmir.The meeting was headed by President of PPP North Texas, Raja Zahid Khanzada. Senior Vice President, Syed Fayyaz Hassan, Vice President, Syed Shahid Jaffery, General Secretary, Akarma Khan (A K Khan) and Information Secretary, Dr. Ghulam Nabi attended the meeting.
Addressing the participants of meeting, Khanzada congratulated PPP Azad Kashmir, people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on victory of the party in AJK election. He said that Azad Jammu and Kashmir election has proved the popularity of Pakistan Peoples Party, the people of AJK love Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and follow the ideology of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
He added that people who were trying to raise question over the popularity of PPP, should now admit that the PPP is still the "biggest political party" of the Pakistan and exist at the each corner of the country.
Khanzada also congratulated Kashmiri Leader, Raja Muzafar Kashmiri living in Dallas for winning 2 seats by his Brother on this Election.At the end of the meeting, PPP leadership in a statement expressed their felicitations to Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto, Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, Senior Vice President of PPP, Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, PPP leaders and workers on victory of the party on AJK election.
