PML-N to stage sit-in outside Presidency, PM House
ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Friday announced to stage a sit-in outside the Presidency and the PM’s House from Monday as part of the PML-N’s agitating strategy. Talking to reporters outside the Parliament House, Nisar said, “Unfortunately, both president and the prime minister are corrupt and convicted. How can the criminals and corrupt people lead the nation?” He accused the PM of hiding corruption of President Zardari. He also regretted that the government adjourned the National Assembly session to avoid wrath of the PML-N.
He lashed out at the government, saying that the rulers were hatching conspiracies against the chief justice of Pakistan through property tycoon Malik Riaz.
“It has been established that the property dealer hatched conspiracy to trap the chief justice’s son”, he said. “The whole drama has been created by Malik Riaz, who even does not take a breath without permission of President Zardari.”
To a question, the opposition leader said that those involved in any business deal with Riaz would be considered to be a part of his (Riaz) misdeeds. staff report
