SC requested to bring back Malik RiazLAHORE: Barrister Zafarullah Khan of the Watan Party has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, seeking issuance of a red warrant for Bahria Town owner Malik Riaz to bring him back to the country for appearance before the court in proceedings against Dr Arsalan Iftikhar.
He moved the petition before the Lahore Registry of the apex court, stating that Malik Riaz had fled to Dubai after hatching a conspiracy against the chief justice of Pakistan’s son. He said that Riaz had neither appeared before the court, nor given any statement against Dr Arsalan Iftikhar. He requested the court to issue the red warrant for Riaz. staff report
