I don’t care if charged with contempt: Riaz

ISLAMABAD: Malik Riaz, the real estate tycoon, said on Wednesday he had not accused the chief justice of anything and that he did not care if he was charged with contempt or sent to prison in the wake of his Tuesday’s press conference. Talking to a private TV channel, Malik Riaz said President Asif Ali Zardari had put forward two conditions to restore the chief justice, which he accepted. He added that in his meetings with the deposed chief justice he had requested for two things. “First that Justice Chaudhry will not trouble the PPP government unduly and second he will not run a parallel government.” He said that he was helping the government but the government was not helping him. online
