Nothing wrong in meeting with CJP: PM
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said that meetings with Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Chaudhry were not objectionable and the government enjoyed good relations with judiciary. Talking to reporters after addressing the concluding meeting of the Education Conference, the premier said that there was unanimous consensus with India over carrying out all outstanding issues, such as the core issue of Kashmir, Siachen and Sir Creek, in a peaceful, honourable and harmonious manner, as decided in the secretary-level talks. Earlier, addressing the conference the prime minister laid particular stress on students to pay full attention to their studies. Gilani also lauded Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for establishing the University Grants Commission. online
