Violence in Karachi claims five lives
KARACHI: The wave of violence continues in the city as five people including a woman were killed on Monday.Two political workers were killed by unknown gunmen in Sherpao Colony of Landhi. Another person was gunned down in the Site area.
Two people including a woman were killed in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area of the city.
Violence has continued in the metropolis for the last several weeks and deteriorated on Sunday after the body of a political worker was discovered in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar area.
In news conference the acting additional IG police announced he had given shoot on sight orders to his force in a bid to improve the law and order situation in the city.
