PM Raja Pervaiz holds meeting with PML-Q leaders
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Saturday held a meeting with the Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Chief Chaudhry Shujhaat Hussain at his residence in Islamabad.
He thanked the PML-Q leaders and members for their support in his election.
Chaudhry Shujhaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi warmly received the Prime Minister on arrival.
Chaudhry Wahjat Hussain, Waseem Sajjad and other PML-Q members were also present on the occasion.
Khursheed Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Syed Naveed Qamar, Mian Manzoor Wattoo and Nazar Muhammad Gondal accompanied the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, PML-Q senior leader Pervaiz Elahi said that reference would be filed for disqualification of the MNAs who did not cast their vote for the election of Prime Minister, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
He said this while talking to media representatives after luncheon hosted by PML-Q President ChaudahryShujaat Hussain in honour of newly-elected Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf here on Saturday.
He said that disciplinary action would be taken against those who did not participate in the election process and reference would be filed against them.
Pervaiz Elahi said that the government would mainly focus on resolution of energy crisis and it would be their top priority to deal with.
The Prime Minister assured us that it would be government’s top priority to get resolved the energy crisis, which is deteriorating with each passing day, he added.
Chaudhry Shujhaat Hussain said that they will continue their support to the government for strengthening democracy and supremacy of law and the constitution.(PPI)
