He said Husain Haqqani, on behalf of Zardari, had sought US support against the Pakistan Army and nukes. He said allegations against the former envoy to the US had proved during a probe by a judicial commission. Dismissing a possible alliance with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Imran said the PML-N was also responsible for the power crisis, as it had also held ministries in the federal government for three years. Imran said Zardari had inducted Pervez Ashraf the prime minister only to protect his corruption. He said a transparent election was not possible with Zardari sitting in the Presidency. Imran condemned firing on a rally of the Awami Tehreek in Karachi, adding that political parties were responsible for deteriorating law and order in Lyari. inp
