PML-N should quit politics of 'Petitions': Malik

ISLAMABAD: Adviser on Internal Affairs Rehman Malik has said all the conspiracy petitions are being churned out in the palaces of Raiwind, and Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah is behind hatching all the petitions against Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

Talking to media representatives outside the Supreme Court (SC) here on Tuesday, he said that the petition mafia is opposed to the PPP-led government, urging that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) to quit the politics of "Petitions".

About the cross border incursion of militants from Afghanistan into Pakistani territory, he said that written guarantee has been asked from the Afghan Government that Dir like incidents would not occur in the time to come, vowing that strict actions are afoot to check terrorism incidents by Taliban.

He said we are determined to eliminate terrorism and due to which the first rank leadership of Tehrik-e-Taliban has been eliminated, adding that some low-level leaders of the TTP were still at large.
