Shazia Marri declared MNA on reserved seat
ISLAMABAD: Former Sindh information minister Shazia Marri has been declared member National Assembly on reserved women seats fallen vacant due to the death of Fauzia Wahab.The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued notification in this regard.
The notification stated: "The Election Commission of Pakistan has been pleased to declare Mrs. Shazia Marri belonging to Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians, as returned candidate on the seat reserved for women in the National Assembly of Pakistan from Sindh Province, Which has fallen vacant due to the death of Mrs. Fauzia Wahab, belonging to Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians".
