Appointment of Deputy Prime Minister challenged in LHC
LAHORE: The appointment of PML-Q leader Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi as Deputy Prime Minister has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC), Geo News reported.Tariq Aziz Advocate filed a petition in the court in which he contend that there is no concept of deputy prime minister in the constitution of Pakistan and this appointment is clear violation to the article 91.
The petitioner pleaded that the court should take notice of this and declare the appointment of DPM as null and void.
