PPP decides to remove differences among PTI, MQM, JUI-F

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party has decided to mend relations amongst Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Jamait Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl) in a bid to form a united opposition front in the National Assembly.

PPP veteran and party’s nominated opposition leader Syed Khurshid Shah has contacted leaders of opposition parties including Maulana Fazlur Rehman,

Shah says his party followed policy of reconciliation during the last five years and will introduce new procedure of reconciliation among opposition parties.

He said differences between the political parties were a great challenge and they had decided to take the PTI leadership into confidence in bid to form a strong opposition.

The PPP leader said that a drone attack had welcomed Mian Nawaz Sharif and the drone strikes would be a bigger challenge than energy crisis for Mr Sharif.

He also warned against any move to form a forward block within the PPP senators. Shah said that any such move would be harmful for the democracy and expressed the hope that Nawaz Sharif would not support it.

Shah said that they would support the PML-N in carrying out accountability but will allow political victimization.
