Balochistan Assembly Speaker, Deputy sworn in

QUETTA: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s Mir Jan Mohammad Jamali was sworn in as Speaker Balochistan Assembly on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

Elected unopposed, Jan Mohammad Jamali was administered oath by the outgoing Balochistan Assembly Speaker Matiullah Agha.

Mir Jan Mohammad Jamali was first elected as a member of Provincial Assembly of Balochistan in 1997. He was Chairman of the Pakistani Senate until 2003.

Later, the Speaker taking over the chair administered oath to Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q)’s Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo as Deputy Speaker, who was also elected unopposed.
