Nawaz Sharif to take PM oath on June 5 evening
ISLAMABAD: Nawaz Sharif will take oath as prime minister in the evening of June 5 after earlier same day getting elected as leader of the House, Geo News reported.
President Asif Ali Zardari will administer the oath to Nawaz Sharif.
Polling will be held in the national assembly for election of the leader of the House and Muslim League-Nawaz (ML-N) president Nawaz Sharif is likely to get elected as leader of the House.
Following election of the leader of the House, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will take oath as prime minister in the presidency. The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected prime minister will be held on June 5 at 5.00 P.M.
Invitation letters for the oath-taking ceremony has been issued by the presidency. Parliament members, superior court judges, chiefs of the armed forces, foreign diplomats and other dignitaries will be attending the ceremony.
