Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hasan resigns
LONDON: Pakistan's High Commissioner to Britain, Wajid Shamsul Hasan resigned from his post on Thursday.
Hasan had been serving as the High Commissioner since June 2008 and had succeeded Dr. Maleeha Lodhi.
Wajid Shamsul Hasan has a post graduate degree in International Relations and had worked as a journalist for several years.
His first term as Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain was in 1994 relinquishing his post in 1996.
