Federal budget on June 12
ISLAMABAD: The newly elected government of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is all set to present its first federal budget for the fiscal year 2013-14 on June 12.
Sources in the Finance Ministry said that the federal finance minister will present the next year’s budget during a special session of the National Assembly on June 12, following its approval by the federal cabinet. According to sources, the government will issue the annual Economic Survey on June 11. Meanwhile, the offices of all ministries and divisions will remain open today in order to facilitate the newly sworn-in federal ministers and ministers of state assume their offices and functions. The decision has been taken by the prime minister, said a circular issued by the Cabinet Division. The newly constituted federal cabinet comprising ministers and ministers of state took oath on Friday. agencies
