Hashmi lands in trouble after NA speech

ISLAMABAD: Veteran politician and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Javed Hashim has apparently landed in trouble after his speech in the National Assembly session in which he said Nawaz Sahrif was still his leader.

Hashmi is now offering explanations to the party chairman to clear his position. He is now found saying kind of words “I didn’t mean this and that, I never said these words”.

Javed Hashmi defected from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to join Imran Khan’s party after developing differences with party leadership. He ran the Nawaz Sharif’s party for 10 yeas when the latter went in exile after an alleged agreement with Musharraf

He was disappointed for being sidelined by the PML-N in decision making and party’s decision to nominate Justice (retd) Saeed Zaman Siddiqui for presidential election further alienated Hashmi.
