MQM to support govt if it eliminates corruption: Altaf
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has urged the law enforcement agencies to rein in gangsters in Karachi as his slight signal would move the flood of people towards the hideouts of criminals.
Hussain said: we know where the criminals are hiding and we also know how to pull them out of their hideouts.
He said that the MQM would render unconditional support to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government if it eliminated corruption in the country.
Altaf Hussain said the victory of MQM candidate from PS-128 was the fruit of workers’ round-the-clock hard work.
He was addressing newly-constituted Coordination Committee, Pakistan and London, Karachi Tanzeemi (Organisational) Committee and workers of Muttahida’s different departments at the MQM headquarters Nine Zero.
He said that the process of re-organising MQM at central level has not yet been accomplished but the Almighty Allah gave strength and courage to newly-elected Coordination Committee and Karachi Tanzeemi Committee, comprising few members, who by their sheer hard work had proved that the movement continued to move ahead in the shape of a caravan and the movement never gets affected with the leaving or with dissociation of anyone from it.
