Corruption will not be tolerated: Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: Newly elected Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has categorically stated that corruption would not be tolerated, Geo News reported.
Addressing the first cabinet meeting here Monday, Nawaz said ‘loadshedding is a serious issue and it will be resolved’.
The prime minister said he worked for national interest and not for personal interest, adding those who perform well would be his friends. He said they were to perform at any cost as the country did not need failure persons.
Nawaz Sharif asked cabinet members to be punctual and ensure to serve masses and reduce expenses.
We will try to control terrorism in consensus with all the stakeholders, he asserted.
