Abdul Qadir Baloch sympathises with Hashmi
ISLAMABAD: Minister of States and Frontier Regions (SAFRON) Abdul Qadir Baloch on Sunday sympathised with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Javed Hashmi, saying that he should not have distorted facts ‘in the said pressure’.
“We understand the interplay compulsion of Javed Hashmi and sympathise with him,” he said while referring to the media interaction of PTI President Javed Hashmi in Multan earlier Sunday.
Hashmi, talking to reporters, claimed that the media had not properly reported his speech and highlighted a few extracts made in parliament without context. Abdul Qadir Baloch in a statement issued on Sunday said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had more concern about the federation and had abdicated its right to form government in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to ensure integrity of federation. Dismissing the impression that small provinces were not taken in the federal cabinet, he said that the PML-N included three members from Sindh, who were either elected on PML-N ticket, like Abdul Hakeem Baloch, or who merged their party, like Murtaza Jatoi.
From KP province, Sardar Yusuf was made minister and Murtaza Javed Abbasi deputy speaker of the National Assembly. The PML-N had limited choices, as it had a small number of members available from provinces other than Punjab, he said. The minister said that within Punjab, Riaz Pirzada, Sikander Bosan and Balighur Rehman were included from southern Punjab. app
