MQM calls for justice in decisions over power distribution
KARACHI: Opposition leader in the Sindh Assembly and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Leader Faisal Sabzwari on Thursday urged the Prime Minister to take decision regarding electricity loadshedding on the basis of justice, Geo News reported.
Talking to media men following a meeting with traders in Sindh Assembly’s committee room, Faisal Sabzwari said that the government was damaging equality for showing justice.
He further said that his team has constitutional, democratic and legal channels and would take unjustified decisions to the floor of the house, adding that the performance of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC) was not satisfactory and urged its administration to improve the performance.
Earlier, the traders met MQM assembly members recorded their reservations over separation of Karachi from the national grid.
