Volunteers devise plan to cope with potential floodsPESHAWAR: Amid rising fears of potential floods, the Al-Khidmat Disaster Management Cell (AKDMC) has directed its volunteers to be ready for relief work, Geo News reported Saturday.
The meeting of the AKDMC office bearers district Peshawar was held under the chairmanship of President Ziauddin Khan here. Briefing the volunteers about the dangers of flood, Mr. Khan asked the volunteers to be vigilant.
Mr. Khan assured his full co-operation to regional administration and provincial minister for local bodies Inayatullah Khan. He also offered his organization’s services to district and provincial administration.
