Usable water reserves in Mangla, Tarbela Dams aggregate to 59,00,099 acres feet

HARIPUR: Water level in Mangla and Tarbela Dams is rising fast, as it recorded during the last 24 hours a further surge by 6 feet, Geo News reported Sunday.

Water inflow in Tarbela Dam recorded at 2,78,900 cusecs and discharge at 1,40,000 cusecs, while water level in the Dam stands at 1487.42 feet, which is 63 feet less that the highest water level of 1550 feet. Usable water reserves in Tarbela Dam stand at 33,35,000 acres feet.

Water level in Mangla Dam recorded at 1166.65 feet, water inflow in the Dam 70,810, discharge at 15,000, while usable water reserves stood at 26,64,000 acres feet.

Usable water reserves in both Tarbela and Mangla Dams aggregate to 59,00, 099 acres feet.
