Nawaz tells Balochistan CM to keep patience
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday made a phone call to Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch in the wake of successive bomb blasts in Quetta, and categorically stated that the perpetrators were enemies of Balochistan and Pakistan.
The PM said that the federal government stood by the people and the government of Balochistan in the hour of need. He asked Dr Baloch to show courage and patience in “these testing times”.
Expressing complete confidence in the leadership of Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, the prime minister said that he would measure up to the trust the people had reposed in his leadership.
He further informed the provincial chief executive that all federal institutions had been directed to provide maximum support to the government of Balochistan. app
