LHC seeks loadshedding schedule for VIPsLAHORE: The Lahore High Court has sought the loadshedding schedule for the Presidency and the Prime Minister House, from the authorities concerned, Geo News reported Monday.
Petitioner Hafiz Saeed had filed an application in the Lahore High Court against exempting the Presidency, Prime Minister House and other VIPs from loadshedding.
He was of the view that this exception is in violation of the fundamental rights and loadshedding should be carried out on the basis of equality across the country.
On this, the court summoned the schedule for loadshedding for the Presidency, Prime Minister House and other VIPs.
Later, the hearing was adjourned till June 27.
