PML-Q Punjab president sees contradiction in words, action of govt.
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q)’s Punjab president, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Tuesday said that Punjab’s budget would only add to unemployment and added that the contradiction in word and action has come to the fore, Geo News reported.
In a statement issued from here, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that special increase in the pensions of the widows of those martyred was imperative, while government employees salaries should be raised by 15 percent.
He said that the government’s intention was bad, as Wazirabad Cardiology Hospital could not be completed by the allocation of Rs40 million. He further said that allocating only Rs7 billion for peasants was nothing but a joke.
