Sindh government given one month to end target killing
ISLAMABAD: The Sindh government has been given one month to end target killing in the province.
During a high-level law and order meeting chaired by Interior Minister Chauhdry Nisar Ali Khan, it was decided that if the Sindh government failed to make any headway, the issue would be taken up by the federal government.
Several important decision regarding law and order were taken during the meeting which included the use of security chips in vehicles, the use of effective measures to enhance information sharing between security agencies and the computerization of all police stations in Islamabad. It was also decided that paramilitary forces would be answerable to the provincial governments.
The meeting was also briefed about the security situation in Balochistan and a nexus between different militant groups.
