Nawaz, Karzai discuss regional situation

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and the two leaders discussed the regional situation. According to media reports, both leaders agreed to make efforts for sustainable peace in the region. The telephonic contact was made before the press conference of President Karzai in Kabul. Prime Minister Nawaz condemned the attack on the presidential palace in Kabul and expressed his resolve to support peace process in Afghanistan. online
