Nawaz Sharif expresses grief over loss of lives in India floods
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minster Nawaz Sharif has expressed profound grief over the loss of lives and destruction caused by the devastating floods in different Indian states, Geo News reported Friday.
In a letter sent to his Indian counterpart Dr Manmohan Singh, Mr Sharif said that South Asia has been facing natural calamities.
He said that people of Pakistan equally share grief of India’s flood victims. The prime minister said that people of India could overcome the difficult situation in the leadership of Mr Manmohan Singh.
