Altaf terms warrants against Gilani, Ashraf political victimization
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has termed issuance of non-bailable arrest warents of Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf as political victimization.
In a statement issued here on Monday, he condemned the warrants and travel ban on both the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders over corruption cases.
Hussain expressed sympathy with both the leaders and urged Asif Ali Zardari to understand the difference between friends and enemies. He said that the MQM stood by both the PPP leaders.
