Imran Khan slams govt over budget
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that a single family was running the government in Pakistan and causing hatred amongst the federating units.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, he said that the budget was aimed at looting country’s wealth and stashing in foreign banks.
Khan said government spent money in Lahore after cutting developments funds of other provinces. He said that feasibility report of Karachi Circular Train was about to be finalized but the work was launched on Metro Plan in Lahore first.
He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa development budget was cut off, adding that such steps cause hatred and sense of deprivation among the provinces.
He said that facilities were provided to unscrupulous elements, tax evaders and the rich in the budget.
